History
The University of Science and Culture is one of the private universities in Tehran. It was established in 1993 under the name of the Higher Education Institute of Jihad University of Tehran, with official permission from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran. In a meeting of the Council for the Expansion of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science, dated February 4, 2006, this institute was elevated to the status of the University of Science and Culture.

The University Environment
The main building of this university is located in the Pounak area of Tehran and has approximately 20,000 square meters of covered space. This includes educational, auxiliary, and administrative areas consisting of central and headquarters buildings, a national park for soft sciences and cultural industries, a technology development research institute, and Royan Research Institute, as well as free education centers number 1 and 2. The university plans to expand the space to 3 hectares in accordance with its comprehensive development plan.
