Academics

The Vice Presidency for Education and Graduate Studies at the university is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of educational policies, regulations, and processes. This includes planning educational affairs and graduate studies, taking necessary measures to enhance and improve educational quality, and managing educational matters across all levels of study. The office is also responsible for organizing educational courses, evaluating them, and handling matters related to faculty members through the General Directorate of Educational Planning, Supervision and Assessment, the General Directorate of Education and Graduate Studies, and various educational and graduate councils.

The General Directorate of Educational Services and Graduate Studies is tasked with registering newly admitted students and supervising the proper implementation of regulations related to the educational affairs of undergraduate (both continuous and non-continuous), master’s, and doctoral students, as well as alumni matters.

The Education Front Office handles educational requests from undergraduate students (both continuous and non-continuous) and addresses their inquiries regarding educational affairs. The educational offices of the faculties are responsible for managing educational requests and responding to questions from graduate students (master’s and doctoral programs).

The General Directorate of Educational Planning, Supervision, and Assessment is responsible for overseeing the proper implementation of course syllabi, regulations, educational directives, and decisions. It also manages the delivery of courses, monitors class formation, evaluates the quality of faculty members and guest instructors, and handles other related matters.

The educational groups within the faculties consist of faculty members specializing in a specific field, and the members of each group form its specialized council. Each educational group, under the leadership of its group manager, is responsible for managing specialized issues such as curriculum planning, developing educational and examination schedules for students at various levels, inviting instructors, reviewing course syllabi, student course registration, internships, and practical training.
