Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC)
The ISC (Institute for Scientific and Technological Citation) ranking system, established in 2008, is administered by the Institute for Scientific and Technological Citation (ISC) of the Islamic World. In addition to ranking universities at the national level, ISC has been ranking universities and research institutions across Islamic countries since 2013.
ISC evaluates and ranks Iranian universities and research institutions over a three-year assessment period using 26 indicators grouped into six major criteria: Education, Research, Technology and Innovation, Internationalization, Economic Impact and Social Services, and Infrastructure and Facilities.

The SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) is one of the newest and most comprehensive global ranking systems for research-oriented universities and research institutions. Developed by the SCImago Research Group, founded at the University of Granada, Spain, the ranking evaluates institutions based on their scientific publications and research outputs indexed in the Scopus database.

The Times Higher Education Impact ranking
The Times Higher Education Impact ranking is one of the most prestigious global ranking systems, focusing on universities’ social and environmental impact. Published by Times Higher Education (THE), it assesses universities based on their achievements toward the United Nations’ sustainable development goals. Universities are evaluated across 17 goals based on their contributions.Key goals include quality education, health and well-being, gender equality, climate action, energy sustainability, reducing inequality, and decent work and economic growth. This ranking highlights the extent of universities’ impact in advancng sustainable development goals and fostering positive effects on society and the environment.
In the 1403 (2024/2025) edition of this ranking, the University was ranked 1,501st among universities worldwide
UI GreenMetric ranking
The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings is a global university ranking system that focuses on environmental sustainability and sustainable resource management in higher education institutions. Established in 2010 by the Universitas Indonesia (University of Indonesia), the ranking aims to evaluate and compare universities based on their commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The UI GreenMetric ranking assesses universities using six key criteria: Setting and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste Management, Water, Transportation, and Education and Research. Universities participating in this ranking demonstrate their commitment to environmental protection and to minimizing their impact on the natural environment.

Webometrics Ranking
The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is one of the world’s most recognized university ranking systems, published by the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The primary objective of this ranking is to promote universities’ web presence, visibility, and open access to academic knowledge, thereby facilitating the dissemination of scientific research and knowledge to the global scholarly community.

AD Scientific Index
The AD Scientific Index is an advanced academic ranking system designed to evaluate the scientific performance of universities and researchers at the global, regional, and national levels. The index is based on bibliometric data derived from researchers’ scholarly activities across various scientific disciplines and provides comprehensive information on the quality, productivity, and impact of scientific research. It is recognized as one of the widely used academic evaluation systems worldwide, developed to enhance transparency and promote the standardization of research performance assessment. By utilizing citation data primarily obtained from Google Scholar, the AD Scientific Index evaluates researchers’ scientific impact over one-year, five-year, and ten-year periods, providing detailed rankings of universities and researchers at both national and international levels.
The AD Scientific Index ranks institutions and researchers using widely accepted bibliometric indicators, including the H-index, i10-index, total citation count, and other related metrics. The methodology is designed not only to measure research productivity but also to assess the quality and scholarly impact of research outputs. Consequently, the index enables universities and research institutions to develop more effective strategies for improving research quality, increasing scientific visibility, and promoting the publication of high-impact scholarly works. Furthermore, by offering longitudinal performance analyses and transparent ranking methodologies, the AD Scientific Index serves as a valuable benchmarking tool for institutional evaluation, strategic planning, research management, and evidence-based policy development in higher education. RUR
The RUR (Round University Ranking) is one of the internationally recognized university ranking systems for evaluating institutional performance worldwide. Established in 2010 by the RUR Ranking Agency in Russia, the system assesses universities based on analytical data provided by Clarivate Analytics. The ranking evaluates universities across four key dimensions: Teaching, Research, International Diversity, and Financial Sustainability, using 20 comprehensive indicators designed to measure different aspects of academic performance.
The University of Science and Culture participated in the RUR ranking system for the first time in 2025 and achieved a global rank of 949 and a national rank of 31.
