The Fourth Gathering of the Virtual Universities Network of the Islamic World (CINVU) was held on February 5-6, 2025, at Payame Noor University, with the aim of expanding educational, research, technological collaborations, and empowering knowledge-based initiatives within the Islamic world. The event was attended by high-ranking academic and technological leaders from universities and research institutes of Islamic countries, as well as foreign ambassadors and diplomats, with over 200 international and domestic guests in attendance. The University of Science and Culture actively participated in this gathering as a member of the network.
The gathering aimed to facilitate the admission of Muslim students to virtual universities in Islamic countries. This network provides opportunities for students who are unable to study in person in various countries to continue their education.
On the sidelines of the gathering, a side exhibition was held featuring members of the network. The University of Science and Culture showcased its latest educational and research achievements and its capabilities in offering specialized short-term and long-term courses, aimed at fostering international collaborations, enhancing the status of science and technology, and strengthening global connections, particularly within Islamic countries.
The Virtual Universities Network of the Islamic World (CINVU) is an international educational, research, knowledge-based, and technological network affiliated with the Ministerial Working Group for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH), which is hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its permanent secretariat established in Iran. This gathering provided a platform for exchanging experiences and perspectives in educational and research fields and created opportunities for identifying areas of collaboration for universities and educational institutions in the future.
